Ahh! I haven't posted in forever on here... I've been up to lots of stuff that I hope to be able to post soon. Here's a kid's book style test I did back in the day, since the Book of Life kid's books were just released recently. This isn't in the actual books, or official or anything, but was meant to show an example of the illustration style I would do. The actual book images are spoiler-riffic so I figured I'd post this instead (this is based on a scene in the trailer).

Light Grey Art Lab piece

This is my piece for Light Grey Art Lab's "Role Models" show. The idea for the show is awesome, a bunch of artists each create fantasy characters and an illustration to be used in a working card game. The card game, all of the illustrations for the show, and prints are all on the LGAL site here:

Character Turnaround (sorry for doublepost)

I posted this earlier and deleted it...but for some reason deleted posts seem to ghost linger on places like google reader so this may appear twice (sorry)

Doing a character turnaround...all the turnarounds I've done for work are less stylized and are orthos for 3d modeling; I wanted to try to do a turn of a character that was more stylized and cartoony (essentially the stuff I usually draw on my own).
